Creating a Gmail Filter
1.) Click on the little triangle at the right end of the search bar to bring up the advanced search.
2.) Using the GUI menu chose the criteria that you want for you filter. (You can use multiple fields to narrow down the results.)
3.) Then click the “Create filter with this search”
4.)Choose what action you want to take with your filter.
5.)If you do not check this box the filter will not affect messages from the past. Only future email
6.)Click “Create filter” when you are done.
